Groves Blasts Rangers, Padres Take Game 4, 10-4
The San Diego (AZL) Padres and the Texas (AZL) Rangers will take the Round 1 to a decisive 5th game. In a must-win situation today, the Padres beat the Rangers 10-4 at Peoria Sports Complex to force the series into what will essentially be a one-game playoff. San Diego (AZL) designated hitter Art Groves went 2 for 2 with a home run. He drove in 4 runs and scored once.

Danny Tellechea helped out the San Diego (AZL) cause in the bottom of the fifth inning with a run-scoring double. For the game, the right fielder went 2-4 with 2 doubles and a walk, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 2.

"Every team in baseball loses," Rangers manager Danny Alonso said. "We're in the playoffs and we still have the same guys that got us here. We'll bounce back."

The next game is set to be played for Tuesday, September 9th , 2098 at Surprise Stadium.
