Hickmott Blasts Redbirds, Storm Chasers Take Game 3, 4-3
Already down in the Round 1, the Omaha Storm Chasers put on their best show, beating the Memphis Redbirds by a final score of 4-3. Paul Hickmott was special. He hit 2 home runs. Omaha now trails Memphis 2-1 in the best-of-5 affair.

Batting in the bottom of the tenth, former first round draft pick Billy Stanley had a real shot to win the game. Memphis pitcher Brian Pitts was determined not to let it happen. But with one out, Stanley hit a run-scoring single. The Storm Chasers had a walk-off triumph.

"I'm just trying to make good contact," said Hickmott, "one at-bat at a time."

The next game is set to be played tomorrow at Werner Park in Omaha.
