After winning the MVP of the Round 1, Indianapolis hurler Pat Utterback said he is focused on putting forward another strong performance in the Round 2.

"I feel great on the mound right now, it's hard to explain," said the Indianapolis Indians pitcher, who played a big role in his team eliminating the Charlotte Knights. "All I know is I want this to continue."

Indianapolis won the final game by a 4-2 count and the series 3-1. Utterback had a 0.00 ERA over 7 innings pitched, with a 2-0 record.

"We didn't do enough to win, it's as simple as that," said Charlotte manager Zach Strecker.

The Indianapolis Indians don't know who they will face in the next round. They will play the winner of the Gwinnett Braves - Buffalo Bisons series. Gwinnett leads the series 2 games to 1. The Round 2 schedule will be announced after the Round 1 finishes.
