Frederick Win to Pull Even With Lynchburg
The Frederick Keys took down the Lynchburg Hillcats by the score of 7-2 and moved into a 1-1 tie in the Round 1. The largest share of the credit belongs to Frederick starter Luis Leon, who threw 5.2 innings allowing 1 run.

Frederick used a well-timed hit by Jody Waters to capture the win. The right fielder socked a 2-run double in the top of the sixth inning to put the Keys ahead, 4-1. Though it was his only hit in 5 at-bats, it was important.

"Helping the team win is what it's all about," said Leon.

The next game is set to be played for Saturday, September 13th , 2104 at Harry Grove Stadium in Frederick.
