Victor Damian of the Myrtle Beach Pelicans put the wraps on a fantastic week of play by being named the Carolina League Player of the Week.
The hot-hitting right fielder was a bonafide batting machine as he racked up 8 hits in 23 at-bats, 2 home runs, .348 BA, 7 RBIs, 5 runs, 3 walks and a .423 OBP.
Thus far this year, Damian has hit .196 with 6 home runs and 21 RBIs.
