Troutman, Missions Take Dramatic Game 2 for 2-0 Series Lead
The San Antonio Missions went into extra innings against the Frisco RoughRiders but ultimately moved to within one game of the Round 2 today. The Missions downed the RoughRiders in a 12-inning walk-off at Nelson W. Wolff Municipal Stadium by a final score of 4-3. San Antonio right-hander Dusty Troutman had a commendable performance. He threw 7.0 innings of 5-hit ball. The win gives the Missions a 2-0 advantage in the best-of-5 Round 1.

The clutch at-bat came in the bottom of the 12th inning, when San Antonio right fielder Donato Esparza, facing Erik Rizzo, had a run-scoring sacrifice fly. It gave the Missions the 4-3 win.

"That was fun but I'll be happy with a nice, safe win next time," San Antonio manager Mike Coveney said.

The next game is set to be played for Saturday, September 13th , 2098 at Dr. Pepper Ballpark in Frisco.
