Townley Neutralizes Spikes
|
Starting pitcher Glen Townley was a major factor in the 2-1 Auburn Doubledays triumph over the State College Spikes. Ray Koval was credited with the save. He has now successfully converted 6 of 7 save opportunities. The 4th-place Doubledays sport a record of 36-38.
