In a low-scoring game between Williamsport and State College, Jayden Boone was fantastic. The Crosscutters right-hander helped his team beat the Spikes, 2-1, in 10 innings. David Leon came out of the bullpen to earn the win. The right-hander allowed no runs on 2 hits in 2 innings. His record now stands at 3-3. With the victory, the Crosscutters record stands at 36-38.

The Crosscutters got a clutch hit from second baseman Jason Tucker. In the bottom of the tenth, he delivered a run-scoring single to win the game for the Crosscutters.

"Tough loss," said State College manager Paul Thomas. "This one will stick in my craw."
