The Hudson Valley Renegades picked up a win at Dutchess Stadium, dropping the Aberdeen Ironbirds, 4-3, in 10 innings. Jayden Wilkins was the difference-maker. Hudson Valley reliever Gary Barnard got the win, raising his record to 1-0. Jeff Lambert was tagged with the loss. With the win, Hudson Valley has a record of 30-46. Aberdeen falls to 53-23.

The decisive blow was delivered by Matt Johnson in the bottom of the tenth when he hit a 2-run double off fireballing right-hander Jeff Lambert to win the game for Hudson Valley. The home crowd went nuts.

"We were determined to pick up this win," said Johnson.
