The Williamsport Crosscutters faced a tough opponent in State College pitcher Mario Morales, but did just enough to pull out the victory at Medlar Field at Lubrano Park by a final score of 5-2. Morales went 6 innings and allowed 1 run. Fidel Lozano earned the win after being summoned from the bullpen. The left-hander allowed no runs on no hits in 1.2 innings. He upped his record to 1-0. Williamsport, at 32-44, sits in last place in the Pinckney Division.

Dustin Clark hit a 2-run triple off Trent Berry in the top of the 11th, which put the Crosscutters in front, 4-2. In addition to the triple, Clark had 1 single and 1 walk, while going 2 for 4.

"We busted our humps out there," said Clark.
