Tortugas Win to Tie Series with Blue Jays
The Daytona Tortugas and the Dunedin Blue Jays will take the Round 1 to a decisive 5th game. In a must-win situation, the Tortugas beat the Blue Jays, 3-1, at Jackie Robinson Ballpark to force the series into what will essentially be a one-game playoff. Daytona right-hander Brian Cheeks had a big role in the win. He threw 6.1 innings of 4-hit ball.

Brian Criss aided the Daytona cause with a run-scoring single in the bottom of the fourth. For the game, the catcher went 1-4.

Daytona manager Bob Rogers commended his team for delivering "maximum effort."

Game 5 is scheduled for Tuesday at Florida Auto Exchange Stadium in Dunedin.
