Raucous MGM Park Crowd Propels Shuckers to 7-2 Victory; Series Tied at 1
Behind a bravura effort from starter Jim Ostroot, the Biloxi Shuckers topped the Montgomery Biscuits by the score of 7-2 today and got their first win in the 2098 Round 2. Ostroot threw 5.0 innings allowing 2 runs for the Shuckers. The win moves Biloxi into a 1-1 tie with Montgomery.

In the bottom of the third, Biloxi right fielder Sandy Amador had a productive at-bat. With a runner on 1st and one out, Amador stroked a 2-run home run to right. It made the score 4-2, Biloxi. For the game, he went 1 for 4 with a home run. He drove in 2 runs and scored once.

"Good win for us," said Ostroot. "We'll lace up our cleats and go after the next one."

The next game is set to be played for Sunday, September 21st , 2098 at Montgomery Riverwalk Stadium in Montgomery.
