Bisons End Mukanda's Streak
Tuesday, June 15th, 2055
Alarbi Mukanda's 23-game hitting streak has now come and gone. It was snapped today as the Scranton WB RailRiders suffered a 3-0 setback against the Buffalo Bisons.

Mukanda went without a hit in 3 trips to the plate. He was visibly upset during a postgame press conference, but it appeared that the streak had little to do with it.

"The hitting streak was one of those things where it was fun while it lasted, but I'm not going to lose any sleep about it tonight," he said. "On the other hand, I am going to lose sleep about dropping this game today."

In 50 games this season Mukanda has compiled a .265 batting average with 48 hits and 1 home run. He has also scored 13 times and knocked in 14 runs.
RailRiders Whitewashed by McKimmey
Tuesday, June 15th, 2055
It was a dismal game for the Scranton WB RailRiders with Joe McKimmey on the hill. The Buffalo Bisons starter was in top form and made it a long day for Scranton WB with a 3-0 shutout. He surrendered a total of 4 hits and piled up 6 strikeouts to pick up the win in a rout.

"No offense to the RailRiders but that was a cakewalk today," McKimmey said to BNN reporters following the win.

This season McKimmey has fanned 60 in 68.1 innings and collected a 3-4 record with a 3.42 ERA.
