The Charlotte Knights started the Round 1 in style, downing the visiting Syracuse Chiefs at BB&T Stadium by a score of 19-2 to grab an early 1-0 lead in the best-of-5 series. Knights right fielder Brian Houston went 5 for 5 with a double, 4 singles, and a walk, while scoring 3 times and driving in 3.
