Missions Hammered by Froelich, Drop Game 2 to Drillers
Tulsa designated hitter Steven Froelich was the difference-maker for the Drillers in what turned into a shootout with the San Antonio Missions. Froelich earned accolades after going 3-for-4 in the 4-1 Drillers win. With the victory, the Drillers moved into a 1-1 tie in the best-of-7 series.

With no one out in the bottom of the third, Ricky Nieto barreled up a fastball from Miguel Espinoza. The result was a 2-run home run, putting the Drillers in front, 2-1.

"I'm really happy I delivered," said Nieto. "The pressure is so high up there, it's indescribable. This is the Round 2."

The next game is set to be played for Friday, September 19th , 2098 at Nelson W. Wolff Municipal Stadium in San Antonio.
