Round 1 Game 1 Victory for Gormley and Frisco
The Frisco RoughRiders powered past the visiting San Antonio Missions, 3-2, in the opener of the Round 1 at Dr. Pepper Ballpark. Frisco starting pitcher Chris Gormley threw 6.1 innings allowing 2 runs, to lead the charge. The RoughRiders now lead the series 1-0.

Conor Conley, the 5th overall pick in the 2104 draft, helped out the Frisco cause in the bottom of the second inning with a run-scoring walk. For the game, the center fielder went 1 for 3 with a double and a walk.

"If you pitch well, you give yourself some opportunities," said Frisco manager Carlos Mercado.

The next game is set to be played tomorrow at Dr. Pepper Ballpark in Frisco.
