Quakes Hammered by Patterson, Drop Game 4 to Storm
The Lake Elsinore Storm and the Rancho Cucamonga Quakes will take the Round 1 to a decisive 5th game. In a must-win situation, the Storm beat the Quakes, 10-4, at Lake Elsinore Diamond to force the series into what will essentially be a one-game playoff. Lake Elsinore right fielder Jason Patterson went 2-3 with a home run, a double, and a walk. He scored 2 times and drove in 2.

Lake Elsinore left fielder Evan Weinstein helped the Storm go up, 7-4, in the bottom of the sixth inning. With the game tied, Weinstein hit a 3-run home run off Rancho Cucamonga pitcher Bill Pavek.

"We didn't pitch good, and when you don't pitch good, you lose," said Rancho Cucamonga manager Arnold McAfee.

The next game is set to be played for Tuesday, September 16th , 2110 at LoanMart Field in Rancho Cucamonga.
