Hagerstown Wins at Home to Take 2-1 Lead in R1
The Hagerstown Suns moved to within one game of the Round 2, downing the West Virginia Power, 3-1, in a low-scoring affair at Municipal Stadium. Leading the way for the Suns was hurler Brenden Allison. He threw 6.0 innings of 4-hit ball. The win gives the Suns a 2-1 advantage in the best-of-5 Round 1.

Rich Medina contributed a productive at-bat in the bottom of the seventh. With a runner on 1st, he hit a double. His at-bat helped Hagerstown get the win.

"Win or lose, the second this season ends, I'm going on vacation," Medina said in his postgame remarks.

The next game is set to be played tomorrow at Municipal Stadium in Hagerstown.
