Yaeger Helps Kannapolis Take Round 2 Game 1
The Kannapolis Intimidators started the Round 2 in style, downing the visiting Lexington Legends at CMC-NorthEast Stadium by a score of 8-4 to grab an early 1-0 lead in the best-of-7 series. Intimidators designated hitter Pat Yaeger went 2 for 3 with a home run and 2 walks, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 2.

Kannapolis took the lead, 5-4, in the bottom of the seventh inning. With no one out, pinch hitter Steve Prouty hit a solo home run that set the crowd abuzz.

"Everything is so stressful now," Prouty said. "I was just trying not to trip on my way up to the plate."

The next game is set to be played tomorrow at CMC-NorthEast Stadium in Kannapolis.
