Power Hammered by Hutchinson, Drop Game 3 to Intimidators
The Kannapolis Intimidators defeated the West Virginia Power, 5-4, in 10 innings in Game 3 of the Round 1. Making an impact was center fielder Aaron Hutchinson, who was 3 for 5 with a home run and a double. He scored 2 runs. The win narrows Kannapolis's deficit in the series to 2-1.

Kannapolis used the timely hitting of Mike Sudduth to seize the win. The catcher stroked a run-scoring single in the top of the tenth inning to put the Intimidators on top, 5-4. It was his only hit in 5 at-bats, but it was a game-changer.

"Our team showed some resilience," said Sudduth.

The next game is set to be played tomorrow at Appalachian Power Park in Charleston.
