Dayton Wins at Home to Narrow Series Deficit to 2-1
Already down in the Round 1, the Dayton Dragons put on their best show, beating the Great Lakes Loons by a final score of 2-1. Mark Matthews was special. He threw 8.2 innings of 1-hit ball. Dayton now trails Great Lakes 2-1 in the best-of-5 affair.

Miguel Gutierrez was the walk-off hero for Dayton. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Dragons designated hitter hit a dramatic run-scoring single to send the teams home.

"The house was rockin'," said Gutierrez.

The next game is set to be played tomorrow at Fifth Third Field in Dayton.
