Delmarva Win to Pull Even With Asheville
Behind a bravura effort from starter Matt Parks, the Delmarva Shorebirds topped the Asheville Tourists by the score of 3-0 and got their first win in the 2114 Round 2. Parks threw 8.0 innings of shutout ball for the Shorebirds. The win moves Delmarva into a 1-1 tie with Asheville.

Parks delivered a quality start for Delmarva. The 5-foot-11 right-hander allowed no earned runs on 3 hits over 8 innings of work.

"I tried to mix it up, keep them off balance," said Parks.

The next game is set to be played for Friday, September 14th , 2114 at McCormick Field in Asheville.
