Knights Prevail, as Round 1 Goes to the Wire
A classic and dramatic Round 1 has wrapped up, with the Charlotte Knights outlasting the Pawtucket Red Sox to advance to the Round 2.

Charlotte won the final game by a score of 5-1 and took the series 3-2.

"We can enjoy this one tonight, but then it's back to work and thinking about the next win," said Charlotte second baseman Kyle Urban, whose standout performance earned him the nod as series MVP.

Urban hit .389 with a .500 on-base percentage. He had 1 home runs, drove in 2 RBI and scored 8 runs.

The Charlotte Knights will play against the Toledo Mud Hens in the next round. Toledo won their series against the Louisville Bats 3 games to 1. The Round 2 schedule will be announced after the Round 1 finishes.
