Toledo Takes 1-0 Series Lead with Walk-off Win
The Toledo Mud Hens took the first game of the Round 1 in dramatic fashion, topping the Syracuse Chiefs in a ninth-inning, walk-off, 6-5 win. Chiefs right-hander Mike DeWolfe was impressive in the loss. He threw 6.1 innings allowing 2 runs.

The decisive blow was delivered by Alberto Servantez in the bottom of the ninth when he hit a run-scoring double off 24-year old right-handed pitcher Pete Pritchett to win the game for Toledo. The home crowd went nuts.

"We couldn't have scripted it any better," Servantez said in his postgame press conference.

The next game is set to be played tomorrow at Fifth Third Field in Toledo.
