Ware Blasts Hillcats, Dash Take Game 4, 6-5

The Round 2 is tied at 2 games apiece, thanks to a dramatic walk-off victory at BB&T Ballpark today for the Winston-Salem Dash.
24-year-old left fielder Pete Ware was the star for Winston-Salem, as he went 3 for 5 with a home run and 2 singles. He scored 3 runs and drove in 2 in the BB&T Ballpark contest. The 6-5 Winston-Salem triumph allowed the team to even the best-of-7 series with the Lynchburg Hillcats at 2-2.
The game came to a dramatic end. In the bottom of the tenth, with Winston-Salem trailing 5-4, Ware hit a fastball from Craig Darnell for a 2-run home run, giving the Dash the walk-off win.
"We own our own mistakes," Ware told a reporter after the game. "But we share our victories."
The next game is set to be played tomorrow at BB&T Ballpark in Winston-Salem.
