Hillcats Win Again, Extend Series Lead to 3-0
The Lynchburg Hillcats are one game away from a sweep of the Salem Red Sox after a road win at Salem Memorial Baseball Stadium, 6-3. Hillcats right-hander Ivan Bustamante had a strong outing. He threw 8.1 innings allowing 3 runs. Lynchburg now holds a 3-0 advantage in the best-of-7 Round 2.

Lynchburg used a clutch at-bat from Luke Untied to capture the win. The second baseman hammered a 3-run home run in the top of the fourth inning to put the Hillcats ahead, 3-1. It was his lone hit in 4 at-bats, but it was a humdinger.

"We're happy," Bustamante told reporters after the win. "When you're in the playoffs, you've got to treat every game like it could be your last."

The next game is set to be played tomorrow at Salem Memorial Baseball Stadium in Salem.
