Almost There: Palm Beach On Cusp of Round 2 Triumph After 5-0 Win
The Palm Beach Cardinals got an exceptional performance from starter Mario Delgado, who silenced the Daytona offense en route to a 5-0 shutout win in Game 4 of the Round 2. The Tortugas could never get a bead on the right-handed Delgado, who threw 8.1 innings of shutout ball. The Cardinals now hold a 3-1 advantage in the best-of-7 series.

The Tortugas had little chance against Delgado, who overpowered Daytona hitters and struck out 12.

"I was able to fill up the zone," said Delgado.

The next game is set to be played tomorrow at Jackie Robinson Ballpark in Daytona Beach.
