The Omaha Storm Chasers faced a tough opponent in New Orleans Zephyrs pitcher Ben Mills, but did just enough to pull out a win in Game 1 of the Round 1, which they now lead 1-0. The Storm Chasers won, 6-4, at Zephyr Field, despite the Zephyrs getting a strong start from left-hander Mills, who went 6.2 innings and allowed 3 runs.

Who knows how it would've ended, had it not been for Jon Bushby? The 25-year old second baseman Bushby stroked a 2-run single in the top of the ninth inning to put Omaha up, 6-4. For the game, he was 2 for 5, including 1 double and 1 single.

"It's hard to overstate how much this mattered to us, especially in a short series," Omaha manager Willie Elizondo said.

The next game is set to be played tomorrow at Zephyr Field in New Orleans.
