With right fielder Brian Rhodes leading the charge, the Tampa Bay (GCL) Rays got a road win over the Houston (GCL) Astros, 5-3, in Game 1 of the Round 1 today. Rhodes was 3 for 5 with a home run and 2 singles, while scoring 2 times and driving in 2 at Ballpark of Belvedere to help Tampa Bay (GCL) take a 1-0 lead in the best-of-5 series.

The game turned with no one out in the top of the fifth when Rhodes hit a 2-run home run. It propelled the Rays into the lead, 5-3.

"I felt good up there," said Rhodes. "I saw the ball well."
