Morris Blasts Spikes, Ironbirds Take Game 3, 9-7
Riding the 2-hit performance of right fielder Seth Morris, the Aberdeen Ironbirds got a road win against the State College Spikes, 9-7, in Game 3 of the Round 2. Morris went 2-5 with a home run, while scoring 2 times and driving in 4 for the Ironbirds, who now lead the best-of-7 series, 2 games to 1.

Jason Towery hit a bases-clearing double off Art Cathcart in the top of the second, which put the Ironbirds in front, 3-0. In addition to the double, Towery had 2 singles, while going 3 for 5.

"I'm just looking to see the ball, hit the ball," said Morris.

The next game is set to be played tomorrow at Medlar Field at Lubrano Park in State College.
