Raucous Ensigns Ballpark Crowd Propels Mets to 7-1 Victory; Series Tied at 2

The New York N (GCL) Mets and the Philadelphia (GCL) Phillies will take the Round 1 to a decisive 5th game. In a must-win situation today, the Mets beat the Phillies 7-1 at Ensigns Ballpark to force the series into what will essentially be a one-game playoff. New York N (GCL) right-hander Rich Arnold had a big role in the win. He came in in relief and pitched to 21 batters.
Paul Carson delivered a 3-run home run for New York N (GCL) in the bottom of the fourth. The center fielder went 3 for 5 in the game, including 1 home run, 1 single, and 1 double. He scored 2 runs and batted in 3.
"I wouldn't want to be playing us right now," said New York N (GCL) manager Ron Woods.
The next game is set to be played for Saturday, September 27th , 2098 at Bright House Field.
