Tigers Even With Mustangs After Extra-Innings Win
Handed an opportunity to close out the Round 1, the Billings Mustangs could not deliver.

Game 4 went into extra frames and the Portland Tigers emerged victorious, taking a 10-inning, 6-3 win. Portland pitcher Ricky Castro threw 6.1 innings of 5-hit ball at Dehler Park, as the Tigers dragged themselves back to parity. The clubs are now tied 2-2 in the best-of-5 series.

Eddie Potter chipped in for Portland, stroking a crucial run-scoring double in the top of the eighth inning. For the game, the right fielder went 1-5 with a double.

"Ricky giving us the start that he did was huge," said Portland manager Bill Aguilar.

The next game is set to be played for Thursday, September 21st , 2113 at Hackers Ballpark in Portland.
