Ban Blasts Braves, Tides Take Game 4, 7-5
Norfolk catcher You-liang Ban was the difference-maker for the Tides in what turned into a shootout with the Gwinnett Braves. Ban earned accolades after going 2-for-4 in the 7-5 Tides win. With the victory, the Tides moved into a 2-2 tie in the best-of-7 series.

Norfolk used a timely hit from Ramiro Amaya to get the win. The first baseman stroked a run-scoring double in the top of the eighth inning to put the Tides ahead, 6-5. It was his only hit in 4 at-bats, but it made an impact.

"I'm just looking to see the ball, hit the ball," said Amaya.

The next game is set to be played tomorrow at Coolray Field in Lawrenceville.
