Already down in the Round 2, the Fresno Grizzlies put on their best show, beating the Oklahoma City Dodgers by a final score of 10-9. Mario Alvarado was special. He was 4-5 with a triple, a double, 2 singles, and a walk. He scored 3 runs and drove in 2. Fresno now trails Oklahoma City 3-1 in the best-of-7 affair.

The game was still up for grabs in the bottom of the tenth. With no one out, Alvarado hit a changeup from Ted Spann for a run-scoring single. The Grizzlies, in dramatic fashion, had a walk-off win.

"By the skin of our teeth, man," Alvarado told the Fresno Bulletin. "But hey, it still counts. A few more by the skin of our teeth is fine with me."

The next game is set to be played tomorrow at Chukchansi Park in Fresno.
