Rockies Heading to Championship Series
|
Fans of the Cincinnati Reds groaned when Kosuke Sakai stepped up to the plate in the Division Series.
And for good reason too, as the Colorado Rockies player was instrumental in guiding his team to a 3-1 series win over the Reds.
The series was clinched tonight at Colorado Field, with Colorado coming out on top 15-6 in the deciding game.
Sakai's strong series included a .556 batting average, with a .579 on-base percentage. He had 3 home runs, drove in 6 RBI and scored 7 runs.
The Championship Series matchups and schedule will be announced after the Division Series finishes.
