Ron Drake said his Ogden Raptors simply weren't ready for the season to come to an end.

"We told ourselves we were winning this series no matter what," he said, shortly after being named the Round 1 MVP, following a 2-1 win at Lindquist Field that officially eliminated the Cleveland (Rk+) Guardians, 3-1.

Drake said his team is "confident and ready" for the Round 2.

The Ogden Raptors don't know who they will face in the next round. They will play the winner of the Helena Brewers - Billings Mustangs series. That series is tied at 2 games apiece. The Round 2 schedule will be announced after the Round 1 finishes.
