The Hagerstown Suns defeated the Augusta GreenJackets, 2-0, in Game 2 of the Round 2. Doing his part was starter Ruben Gutiorroz, who threw 7.0 innings of shutout ball. The win moves Hagerstown into a 1-1 tie with Augusta in the series.

Gutiorroz, the Hagerstown right-hander, went 7 innings, allowing no runs on 4 hits. He collected 6 strikeouts.

"I tried to mix it up, keep them off balance," said Gutiorroz.

Game 3 is scheduled for Monday at Lake Olmstead Stadium in Augusta.
