Duran, Owlz Sink Rangers Again in Game 2
Riding the 3-hit performance of left fielder Robby Duran, the Orem Owlz got a road win against the Texas (Rk+) Rangers, 11-9, in Game 2 of the Round 1. Duran was 3 for 4 with a home run, a double, and was hit by a pitch. He scored 3 runs and drove in 4 for the Owlz, who now lead the best-of-5 series, 2 games to 0.

Andy Chiera hit a bases-clearing triple off David Padron in the top of the first, which put the Owlz in front, 3-0. Chiera had 1 walk, in addition to the triple. For the game, he went 1 for 4.

"Like I've always said, I'm the straw that stirs the drink," Duran said (again).

Game 3 is scheduled for Sunday at Brent Brown Ballpark in Orem.
