Dodgers Win Extended Game 2 Duel with Redbirds Behind 2 HRs From RF Schuler
He may not do it as often as in his glory days, but Greg Schuler showed that he can still put on a show.

The 35-year-old Oklahoma City right fielder blasted the Memphis Redbirds pitching staff in Game 2 of the Round 1 at Chickasaw Bricktown Ballpark, helping the Dodgers move one game closer to a Round 2 appearance. Schuler went 2-3 with 2 home runs, while adding 5 RBI and scoring twice as the Dodgers took the 9-8 win. With it, Oklahoma City holds a 2-0 lead in the best-of-5 series.

The decisive blow was delivered by Avery Thomas in the bottom of the tenth when he hit a run-scoring double off 25-year old right-handed pitcher Paulino Aldana to win the game for Oklahoma City. The home crowd went nuts.

"You know, at the end of the day, it's about who scores the most runs," said Oklahoma City manager Vicente Gutierrez.

Game 3 is scheduled for Wednesday at AutoZone Park in Memphis.
