The Tulsa Drillers have closed some of the gap between themselves and the series-leading Frisco RoughRiders, winning, 5-4, at Dr. Pepper Ballpark. Drillers catcher Aaron Snaith went 2 for 4 with a home run. He drove in 2 runs and scored once. The win cuts the deficit facing the Drillers to 3-2 in the best-of-7 Round 2.

Brian Garrett, the Tulsa second baseman, contributed a run-scoring single in the top of the fifth inning to make the score 1-0, Drillers. For the game, Garrett was 1 for 2.

RoughRiders manager Carlos Mercado did not take questions after the game, telling assembled reporters that he would hold a press conference "if and when we win the Round 2."

Game 6 is scheduled for Friday at ONEOK Field in Tulsa.
