Casillas Helps Colorado (GCL) Take Round 2 Game 1
The Colorado (GCL) Rockies started the Round 2 in style, downing the visiting St. Louis (GCL) Cardinals at Mosquitos Ballpark by a score of 4-1 to grab an early 1-0 lead in the best-of-7 series. Rockies left fielder Mauricio Casillas went 3-3 with a double, 2 singles, and a walk, while scoring 2 and driving in 2.

Casillas had a key at-bat in the bottom of the third to put Colorado (GCL) in front, 2-0. With runners on 1st and 2nd, he hit a run-scoring double off St. Louis (GCL) pitcher Steve Waldrop.

"We put together a nice win," Casillas said.

The next game is set to be played tomorrow at Mosquitos Ballpark in Baton Rouge.
