Chicago (Rk+) Wins at Home to Take 2-1 Lead in R2
With starter Matt Hale leading the charge, the Chicago (Rk+) Cubs defeated the Great Falls Voyagers, 4-1, in Game 3 of the Round 2. The right-hander threw 5.2 innings of 4-hit ball at Harbingers Ballpark to help Chicago (Rk+) take a 2-1 lead in the best-of-7 series.

Emilio Amezcua, the Chicago (Rk+) right fielder, contributed a 2-run home run in the bottom of the second inning to make the score 2-0, Cubs. For the game, Amezcua was 1 for 3 with a home run and a walk. He drove in 2 runs and scored once.

Voyagers manager Harry Andreotta did not take questions after the game, telling assembled reporters that he would hold a press conference "if and when we win the Round 3."

The next game is set to be played tomorrow at Harbingers Ballpark in King of Prussia.
