SS Lab Lights Up Mustangs for 5 RBIs as Rangers Tie R2
The Texas (Rk+) Rangers knotted up the Round 2 at Black Diamonds Ballpark, thanks in large part to shortstop Justin Lab. Lab was 2 for 4 with a home run and a walk, while adding 5 RBI and scoring once as he overpowered the Billings Mustangs, enabling Texas (Rk+) to grab the 12-4 win and move into a 2-2 tie in the best-of-7 series.

Lab had a key at-bat in the bottom of the fifth to put Texas (Rk+) in front, 7-4. With the bases loaded, he hit a 2-run single off Billings pitcher Tony Cordova.

"We did more than enough to get the win," said Lab.

The next game is set to be played tomorrow at Black Diamonds Ballpark in Mesa.
