Indians Advance to Round 3
The Spokane Indians appear poised to make a serious run at the Round 3 after a convincing sweep over the Los Angeles N (SS-A) Dodgers in the Round 2.

It's now on to the Round 3 for Spokane, who won the final game 13-6 and took the series 4-0.

"Everyone's doing their part and things are falling into place," said Spokane center fielder Brian Gordon, who was named series MVP. "It feels like a special year."

For the series, Gordon hit .500 with a .579 on-base percentage. He had 2 home runs, drove in 5 RBI and scored 6 runs.

The Spokane Indians don't know who they will face in the next round. They will play the winner of the Boise Hawks - Everett AquaSox series. That series is tied at 2 games apiece. The Round 3 schedule will be announced after the Round 2 finishes.
