Nicastri Torches Grizzlies for 5 Hits
Speaking with reporters after a dominating hitting performance, Tom Nicastri said his club's tilt with the Gateway Grizzlies "felt almost like batting practice." The 24-year-old left fielder went a remarkable 5-for-5 at the plate.

"I saw the ball well and could just about hit it anywhere I wanted," he recalled later.

However, his sensational day wasn't enough for the Trois-Rivieres Aigles, who were topped by the Grizzlies, 23-21.

"It's a good lesson for him, I guess," Aigles manager TJ Stanton said. "Sometimes Tom is going to lose. But I would rather him go 5-for-5 and lose than go 0-for-5 and lose."

Tom Nicastri singled in the 1st, hit a solo-shot off Dylan Sunnafrank in the 3rd, walked in the 5th, singled in the 6th, singled in the 8th, walked in the 9th and hit a solo-shot off Matt Vonderschmidt in the 10th.

To date, Nicastri has collected 100 hits for a .431 average. He has posted 26 home runs, scored 90 runs and driven in 75 runs.
