Chihuahuas Cruise to Round 2 with Sweep
The Reno Aces were simply overmatched by the El Paso Chihuahuas in the Round 1.

The end result was a sweep, as El Paso has cruised to the Round 2, with the final win coming at Aces Ballpark by a score of 4-1.

"We're clicking and running on all cylinders at the moment," said Juan Andino, who was named MVP of the Round 1. "We're a dangerous team when we play like this."

For the series, Andino hit .333 with a .429 on-base percentage. He had 1 home runs, drove in 4 RBI and scored 3 runs.

The El Paso Chihuahuas don't know who they will face in the next round. They will play the winner of the Round Rock Express - Colorado Springs Sky Sox series. Colorado Springs leads the series 2 games to 1. The Round 2 schedule will be announced after the Round 1 finishes.
