Curve Reel Off Another Win
Altoona got a strong outing from Edwin Colomer as the Curve defeated the Trenton Thunder, 8-0, at Arm & Hammer Park. Colomer got the win, improving to 4-0. He gave up 3 hits and walked 2 over 5.1 innings. He allowed no runs. The loss drops Trenton to 13-16.

Altoona won the game in part because of Nick Petti. The left fielder ripped a 2-run home run in the top of the third inning to put the Curve ahead, 3-0. For the game, Petti had 1 double and 1 home run in 5 at-bats.

"I'm not out there for personal accomplishments," Petti told a Altoona Gazette reporter after the game. "I'm out there to help the team win, and that's what we did today."
