Castillo Blasts Indians, Brewers Take Game 2, 6-4
|
With left fielder Juan Castillo leading the charge, the Helena Brewers got a road win over the Cleveland (Rk+) Indians, 6-4, in Game 2 of the Round 1 today. Castillo went 2 for 4 with a home run, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once at Parrots Ballpark to help Helena force a 1-1 tie in the best-of-5 series.
Momentum swung to the Brewers in the top of the fifth, when Castillo hit a solo home run. It propelled the Brewers into the lead, 5-3.
"It was a solid team effort," said Castillo after the game.
The next game is scheduled for Monday in Helena. The scheduled starters for the game are Elias Aviles for the Cleveland (Rk+) Indians and Jacob Ollerton for the the Helena Brewers.
