Frederick won the final game by a 9-2 score and thus clinched the series 3-1.

"We think this is our year, but we're taking it one game at a time," said Alex Caldera, who was named series MVP.

For the series, Caldera hit .188 with a .235 on-base percentage. He drove in 7 RBI and scored 3 runs.

The Frederick Keys don't know who they will face in the next round. They will play the winner of the Carolina Mudcats - Winston-Salem Dash series. Carolina leads the series 2 games to 1. The Round 2 schedule will be announced after the Round 1 finishes.
