Jon Kouzmanoff said his Los Angeles A (SS-A) Angels simply weren't ready for the season to come to an end.

"We told ourselves we were winning this series no matter what," he said, shortly after being named the Round 1 MVP, following a 4-2 win at Oxnard Grounds that officially eliminated the Spokane Indians, 3-1.

Kouzmanoff said his team is "confident and ready" for the Round 2.

The Los Angeles A (SS-A) Angels don't know who they will face in the next round. They will play the winner of the Hillsboro Hops - Atlanta (SS-A) Braves series. That series is tied at 2 games apiece. The Round 2 schedule will be announced after the Round 1 finishes.
