Ferris hits 2 home runs to Ignite Sea Dogs Offense
The Portland Sea Dogs topped the Binghamton Mets, 6-5, with first baseman Mark Ferris playing a big role. Ferris was 2-3 with 2 home runs and a walk, while adding 3 RBI and scoring twice for the Sea Dogs in the win. The win gives Portland a record of 2-1.

Portland took a 6-5 lead on Ferris's 2nd home run of the season. The 2-run home run, which he hit off Bobby Diaz in the bottom of the eighth, propelled Portland to the win.

"Say want you want about this team, they play nine innings hard," said Portland manager Jason Hawkins.
